A Bittersweet Phase Of Life!

Posted on December 15, 2019December 29, 2019 by Zarmeena Naseer

Frosty December night.
Zozo. A girl, just walking down the street sluggishly, thinking about her life as the year has been wrapping and bringing off some bittersweet memories.
It is the time that usually considered as the zenith of the year where you alternate quickly between bliss and heady sadness. This is when you show your soul.
For Zozo, this year was all about letting go and moving on. This year was a lesson, a blessing and a year that made her fearless and strong.
But what’s making her so numb and probing at the same time?
Maybe it is because sometimes life becomes so colorful in the blink of an eye but some colors are too shy to play when all the blue takes over space.
Winter’s wind is blowing strong. Full of grits and grimes, arid and dry, yet it makes her eyes wet. She is feeling emotionally numb on the inside as she is going through the bittersweet motions of life.
For Zozo, this phase is all about leaving, changing and becoming. ♡

I am very vocal about this dialogue. I think and f I am very vocal about this dialogue. I think and feel that this is karma that we have built over the years whether its global warming or crisis like these. Its a wakeup call for us and I hope after this we will be able to understand that we cannot live happily by constantly hurting our mother nature. The outbreak of contagion diseases, deprivation of food and basic necessities and other problems like these shall get bigger with time.

I have had witnessed in the past 6 months; in these quarantine days that in all over the world, in other countries where the lockdown has been persisting, I have seen that the skies are clearer there, the greenery is thriving, animals are thriving and I read the quote that said — "Mother nature doesn't need us, it will heal itself. We need mother nature to be alive"

This pandemic is a slap in the face for all of us so that we can start to lead more disciplined, contented and grounded lives by taking responsibilities of our nature. If you haven't figured it out yet then I don't know what kind of calamity will open your eyes and mind 🌿🌏

I've to say this and this is the msg I really wann I've to say this and this is the msg I really wanna convey that as much as we love social media; one cannot forget that this is all an illusion. So wherever you're in your life - Lets pause, turn off, reschedule, take it a day at a time and do a thing EVERYDAY that make you feel better. Don't forget that social media is all a carefully constructed illusion of calm!
Time has a new meaning now. Time used to race by. Time has a new meaning now.

Time used to race by.
The days felt longer than the to-do list.
Today i wondered if the to-do list would last longer enough.

Time is teaching us in the stuck.
Its teaching us to love.
Its teaching us to push through.
Its teaching us to rest.
Its teaching us to be aware.
Its teaching us to grateful.
Its teaching us to be kinder.
Its teaching us to create memories.
Its teaching us to appreciate the simple. — Marie Racheal Martin

My stance on this global pandemic is that this is the most crucial and disturbing time that we, as a global community, presently facing. Know the true essence of life and what Almighty wants from us.

Sharing my bit on these horrible times. Head on to the website to read a detailed blog post. As always I've attached the link in my profile ♡

"....I know how it feels like when you've so much "....I know how it feels like when you've so much bottled inside of you". I ALWAYS talk about on the subject of "Depression" on and off; as I feel that we are living in mad times, all sectors and masses are evolving at the speed of light that almost some of us forget to slow down their lives, forget to vent or share or discuss for what that is imperative more than anything - Mental Health!

It does not have to be clinical and feelings or intensity can vary (in my experience).
I've alot in my mind rightnow to pour into. As I myself am facing, struggling, battling with depression demons intermittently. I just want to call it out and scream out from my platform, soon I am going to start a "Series" which I am planning since months!

Wanna share it with you all so that you get some light in these distressful times. "When we take refuge in the world, are expecting certain outcomes and we think we are in control. But we will always dissatisfaction because the world will always be uncertain. Everything is impermanent. Even when this pandemic ends, we will still be dissatisfied with other new things and situations.

Gradually we will find that happiness is actually in our own mind. By having gratitude, contentment, mindfulness, compassion, wholesome mental states e.t.c we can be Happy!

Finally, not everything is purely about me, mine and only about myself and my ego. By helping people as much as we can and with mindfulness and a mind of contentment, compassion and equanimity - we gain peace and tranquility"

I published this last year as a guide to prevail kindness as I believe that I don’t become any less by being kind to others. And in times like these I think and feel that now we need to do more of that, so bringing one of our old faves back to the site to have a read.
In these surreal times so many of us are feeling the pinch of this quarantine and squeezed due to what’s been happening because of the Covid-19.
So many people are in financial trouble at the moment, they are in need of a helping hand and are looking forward to those kind and deep-pocketed peeps.

Whether they're your collegues, your needy relatives, your needy friends, your employees, your carpenter, plumber, electrician, drivers, maids or those strangers who don't have food or shelter. Be a gentle, kind spirits to them. They're waiting for your KINDNESS. I shall definitely create more content on this subject and share with you all to learn and practice in these times.

Let good sense prevail ♡

Head on the website for a detailed blog post. Link is in profile to have a read!

"Preserving integrity is first and foremost" I wi "Preserving integrity is first and foremost"

I wish and hope that more people learn the actual meaning of preserving integrity, those who feel less or are made to feel less or not enough. We should mother ourselves and raised ourselves with the fact that the life we're living and it's plan are uniquely ours.

We are encouraged to believe that our life should somehow fulfil the expectations of others. Rather than being taught to ask ourselves who we are, we are schooled to ask others. We are, in effect, trained to listen to others versions of ourselves.

Break this stereotypical thinking. Block out those voices! ❤✌ #PreservingIntegrity #FridayNightImpulse #TruthTelling
